Extend Aeration based STP

Extended Aeration is a type of activated sludge process with no primary settling and very long aerobic detention time to generate less excess sludge overall. It is ideal for smaller flow, modular applications that require low maintenance such as residential subdivisions. But the long HRT of Extended Aeration means larger basins, and when capacity growth outpaces available space, IFAS can be a good solution.

MBBR based STP / FAB based STP

Moving Bed Bio Reactor (MBBR)/ Fluidised Aerobic Bio-Reactor (FAB) MBBR is a variant of submerged aerated filter technology. It provides a small footprint solution for carbonaceous, nitrification, C+N or in anoxic mode for de-nitrification treatment with very low capital and operating costs together with a low head loss. The MBBR can be designed as a small footprint process solution for a new works, or as a retro-fit to an existing activated sludge plant to increase capacity and improve effluent quality. It can also be operated in applications of high ammonia concentration – such as sludge liquor treatment or leachate treatment - with the continuously moving bed format in order to provide the oxygenation required for the higher load.

SBR Based STP

Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) SBR is a fill-and-draw Extended Aeration System for sewage treatment. In this system, sewage is added to a single "batch" reactor and all the Equalization, aeration, and clarification can all be achieved using a single batch reactor. It is true sequencing batch system and able to provide consistent effluent quality to desired limits. SBR is designed to minimize operation and maintenance cost all equipments accessible from side the plant eliminating the need to dewater. Power requirement is very less due to intermittent operation of pumps and blower. The overall power consumption is 60% compared to other all process.

MBR Based STP

MBR technique, a new method for wastewater treatment, integrates membrane separation and biotechnology, rejects activated sludge and macromolecular organic matter in aerobic tank/MBR tank with membrane separation plant, thus saving the use of secondary sedimentation tank. Consequently, the concentration of activated sludge rises greatly, the HRT and the SRT could be controlled separately, and difficult degraded matters are constantly degraded and reacting in reactor. Therefore, compared to traditional biological treatment methods, MBR technique greatly strengthens the function of the bioreactor with the using of membrane separation. Fig. shows the typical MBR concept of combination of Activated sludge process and membrane filtration.

SAFF Based STP

Submerged Aerobic Fixed Film (SAFF) SAFF Technology incorporates the advantages of Fixed Film Technology combined with Fine bubble Diffused Aeration. SAFF is highly suitable for medium and low strength wastewater. Sukriti design good quality submerged aerated filter to reduce the amount of BOD and ammonia nitrogen in settled sewage and industrial effluents. BOD removal efficiency possible of SAFF reactor is 95 - 97%.
